Hi, I'm Leslie.

I'm a wife, a mom of five, and the photographer behind Blush Studio.

For a long time, I photographed maternity and newborn sessions almost exclusively. I loved documenting those seasons of life, but over the years I started noticing something.

The women I photographed were always so focused on everyone else.

Their babies. Their husbands. Their jobs. Their families.

And honestly, I get it because I'm the same way.

As women, we're constantly taking care of other people. We're making sure everyone else has what they need, everyone else feels loved, everyone else is comfortable. Somewhere along the way, we stop doing those things for ourselves.

That's one of the reasons I fell in love with boudoir photography.

Not because of the lingerie.

Not because of the photos.

Because of what happens to a woman when she realizes she's still in there.

The woman who feels beautiful.
The woman who feels confident.
The woman who feels powerful.
The woman who doesn't need anyone else's permission to take up space.

One of the things I hear all the time is, "I've always wanted to do this, but..."

But I need to lose weight.
But I'm not photogenic.
But maybe next year.
But I'm too old.
But I don't have the confidence.

I've photographed hundreds of women, and I can tell you that confidence doesn't usually show up before the session. It shows up because of the session.

You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need modeling experience. You don't need to be a certain size, age, or season of life.

You just have to trust me enough to show up.

I'll guide you through every step of the experience, from planning and wardrobe to posing and expressions. My job is to create beautiful images. Your job is simply to be present.

At the end of the day, the albums are gorgeous and the photographs are something you'll treasure. But the thing I love most is watching women leave my studio standing a little taller than when they walked in.

And that's why I do this.
