You've watched videos, studied Pinterest or even stalked your favorite photographer online.
But what happens when you're back in your own studio, standing in front of a client who has never modeled before?
That's where the real education begins.
Throughout this workshop, you'll learn how I approach boudoir photography from the first client conversation to the final image selection. You'll see how I direct women, adjust poses for different bodies, create variety without constantly changing setups, and build galleries that feel intentional rather than repetitive.
And you won't just watch. You'll photograph alongside me, receive feedback on your images, and have an opportunity to apply what you've learned with me assisting you during your own client session.
Friday — The Client Experience
Half-day education + live model session

We begin with my approach to boudoir photography, including client preparation, communication, wardrobe, posing, and the experience I create for every woman who walks into my studio.
You'll photograph our first model and observe an actual same-day image reveal, where I present images without editing them beforehand.
You'll leave with a simple assignment: choose and edit your five strongest images for Saturday morning.
Saturday— The art of posing
Full-day intensive · Beginning at 8 AM
December 12
We'll start with breakfast and an open discussion of everyone's five edited images.
Then we'll spend the day photographing three different models. You'll see me use the same foundational poses with each woman, adjusting my approach to suit her body, comfort, and individuality.
You'll also learn how I create completely different images for each client using posing, lighting, camera angles, and subtle adjustments.
Beyond the Workshop — Continued Mentorship
Your education doesn't end Saturday
The following week, we'll meet on Zoom to review selected images from the workshop, discuss what worked, and identify opportunities to improve.
You'll also receive a private one-on-one Zoom session with me to discuss your individual questions, challenges, and goals.
Your own client. Your own session. I'm there to help.

Every workshop participant receives a complimentary, two-hour private studio session at The Studio by Blush.
You'll bring a client of your choosing, plan the session yourself, and take the lead from beginning to end.
I'll be there to assist, answer questions, offer suggestions when needed, and help you work through the things that might otherwise feel intimidating.
This isn't another session where you watch me photograph someone.
This is your opportunity to put everything you've learned into practice.
Two consecutive studio hours, scheduled in advance within 90 days of the workshop, subject to availability.

With only five to six photographers, this workshop is designed to give everyone opportunities to ask questions, photograph our models, and receive meaningful feedback.
You won't be competing with a crowd of photographers for a few seconds in front of a model.
The goal is to leave with more than beautiful portfolio images. It's to leave understanding how to create them again, on your own.
